From December 26 to December 28, this virtual summer camp helps teens improve executive functioning skills to increase academic success! TEEN CAMPCampers ages 12-15 will participate in numerous activities to help them develop executive functioning skills including planning, organizing, and time management. Camp begins at 10:00 AM, but campers may arrive as early as 9:30 AM (Mountain Time). The camp dismisses at 4:30 PM.Some activities include creating a detailed schedule, learning notetaking skills, and preparing their backpack, along with games and puzzles. Additionally, campers have at-home activities including tracking their time, cleaning their study space, and adding information to their planner.There are only 8 slots available.Some skills and topics campers will learn include:Prioritizing and setting goalsTracking and managing timeNotetaking skillsOrganizing a study spaceUsing a plannerPlanning for projects with numerous milestonesProblem solving via math games and puzzlesThe neuroscience of sleepStress management techniquesGrammar skills related to the PSAT/SAT (including a partial practice test)
REGISTRATION Camps takes place from Tuesday, December 26 to Thursday, December 28.
