I have 2 bedrooms opening up in the house I rent in Cory-Merrill, just a few blocks east of Wash Park and the Gaylord Street dist (Devil's Food, Perdida, etc). The house has a driveway and detached garage with storage as well as 2 fenced yards great for sitting outside and relaxing. Central heat and air conditioning, as well as a sprinkler system so the yard is low maintenance and always looks great. The landlords used to live here themselves last year, so it is well taken care of. Rent for the upstairs mid sized room is $1250. My room is also on the main floor (I pay that amount as well), and the large full bath is shared between these 2 rooms. Downstairs, there is a second living room, large laundry room (w/d included) with storage, full bathroom, and additional fridge. The downstairs large bedroom is also connected to a small office which would be a perfect reading area or WFH set up. Rent for this room is $1500. Utilities (internet, gas/electric, water/sewage, and trash) are split by the 3 of us. About me: I'm a software engineer who works from home full time, but am out throughout the day occasionally for some freelance photography that I do. Early 30s and very clean. I love to cook, fly fish, game, travel, ski, garden, and grill out with friends. I have a very friendly cat named Luna. We are responsible for mowing the lawn which I don't mind completing. I enjoy my down time to recharge, but like having roommates to catch a game/movie together or cook and hang out occasionally.
