Vice President — Purchasing


Direct architecture and ongoing plan development for purchasing division in 3 cities. Managed daily administration of budgeting, bidding, awarding, and contracting for all housing production. Developed work flow and procedures to increase productivity and efficiency. Created and implemented organizational structures for document and contract management, and data and file structures. Streamlined bidding system to promote rapid cost reductions for projects. Coordinated with sales, production, and senior executives regarding department operations and project development and execution. Vice President of Operations — MIS and Purchasing


Directed creation and launch of product development and purchasing divisions. Implemented construction management systems and new technology to streamline procedures and increase project execution. Developed extensive purchasing database and automated contract system for multiple types of housing.


 


Prior experience includes two years as National Construction Manager for Citi Equity Group, completing over 1900 apartments in 15 different states. Also served as project manager for ten years with the 13th largest builder in California completing over 1500 units in California ranging from HUD apartment units, entry-level town homes, luxury condominiums and multi-million dollar custom homes. Types of construction included multifamily rental and for sale, congregate care facilities, faculty housing for universities, 13 story high-rise, residential/commercial mixed use, production and custom housing. Purchased and supervised all offsite and onsite infrastructure improvements. Oversaw and facilitated entitlement and governmental approvals.
