AWS is seeking systems engineers to own and advance a mission critical service in our Dedicated Clouds (ADC).
Our team enables customers to leverage some of the greatest advantages AWS offers via the AWS building and operating of massively distributed file systems and storage solutions such as Elastic File System (EFS), Storage Gateway, and AWS Snow Family's Snowball Edge.
This work requires us to develop processes, procedures, and facilities that allow customers to easily use our products and enable us to meet customer expectations on security and speed.
Our Support Engineers work in a fast-paced environment with our multi-disciplined service teams to deliver cutting-edge services to our customers.
In this role, the candidate will support EFS, Storage Gateway, and Snowball engineering and operations by completing activities including but not limited to:
Troubleshooting device, network, and/or configuration related issues, Manage and monitoring systems health and status, Identifying, documenting, and communicating engineering and operations recommendations to team members, Provisioning devices, assisting with data ingestion, and device cleaning, Writing and disseminating after action reports capturing key events, actions taken, and future mitigation plans, Providing on-call support when necessary.
This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.
S.
citizen and must currently possess an active Top Secret security clearance.
The position further requires that, after start, the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and satisfy other security related requirements.

Minimum salary this role would offer:
This position starts at $65,400-$114,400.
A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
