As a vital member of our team, you'll be recognized as an industry leader and expert within Jacobs and work on challenging resilience programs focused on planning for and mitigating impacts of natural mitigating impacts of natural hazards such as flooding, wildfire and earthquake risk where your expertise with urban planning, resiliency, complex city master plans and policy, recognize you as an industry leader.
At Jacobs you'll participate in the development of our resilience business strategy.
You'll contribute to key resilience programs and our Strategic Consulting team's Business & Finance, which provides integrated financial planning solutions, including grant and loan support, to a growing list of interested clients; this practice has a significant impact upon on business.
We'll ask you to leverage your expertise to mentor and develop our team to help us build our skills, knowledge, and resources to enable us to win and deliver complex results.

Qualifications :
o Ability to identify, coordinate, plan applications, and advance the documentation and implementation of Resiliency grant applications and awards.
o Strong Grant Management and experience with full Grant Process from initial strategy/tracking of evolving programs at a state and federal level, through grant application and administration including but not limited to FEMA BRIC program or pervious hazard mitigation grant program, US HUD, CDBG, US DOT RAISE and similar grant programs that focus not just on disaster preparedness but on infrastructure resilience planning, design and construction.
o Seen as an industry leader, visionary, strong monitorship skills, helping guide an industry professional.
Strong communication skills, both for internal communication with the Jacobs grant team and in communicating grant capabilities to Jacobs client account managers, and for external communication with clients and as a representative of Jacobs at industry association events.
o Strong organizational skills and a proven record of leading development of high-quality documents such as grant applications within tight timeframes.
o Licensed Professional Engineer, and or Resiliency Grant Professional and/or MBA or advanced degree in Economics or Finance ideally licensed in (or able to obtain for) TX, FL, NY, potentially CA o Bachelor's degree in and or Masters, and/or direct experience with Resiliency, Climate Change Grant Execution.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
