The Role

The Manager Sales Operations acts as the Sales Operations support to the region. The candidate employs a wide variety of skills and functions, including arbitrating and resolving escalated disputes between sales teams within the region and between regions applying existing precedence and rules where possible and making decisions with future behaviors in mind in new area; reporting on sales performance trends and attainment; revenue trend and forecasting; overseeing proper module management for the sales teams; managing budgets, sales team headcount, adjustments, process questions and disputes. It is expected that this position will be the subject matter expert in operational areas of the business and as such will work with Sales VP positions as an equal in their areas of expertise in running programs and resolving issues.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manage target setting and reporting.
  • Manage sales recognition processes for the region.
  • This position has direct reports who manage all account transfers, sales hierarchy, and assist with sales compensation related issues.
  • Sales and revenue reporting, sales and revenue forecasting, financial modeling, customer segmentation, channel conflict resolution and organization strategy and design.
  • This position may also manage a team of branch located sales operations consultants who support individual Director Sales position and is responsible for the standardization of processes and reporting as well as the sharing of best practices between branches.
  • Lead reorganization and expense reduction efforts for a region including making recommendations on new operational structures and developing and implementing the transition plan with work force adjustments and customer alignment.
  • Develop programs and processes with sales leadership to help drive sales results and behaviors within the region.
  • Implement process improvements within the region and provide feedback to the Centralized team around best practices.

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent education and 5
    years related experience or 3
    years related experience with Master s degree.
  • Demonstrated analytical, communication (oral and written), conflict resolution, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skill set.
  • Computer literacy skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Project management skills Experience in Sales Operations, Reporting, Compensation or related field
  • Expert knowledge of Sales Operations specialty and strong business acumen
  • Highly developed facilitation and team building skills

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
