As a Human Resources Officer, you will:
Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive personnel management program designed to meet the unique requirements of the United States Mint. Provide administrative and technical oversight of day-to-day Human Resources operations, and ensures consistency and coordination of those activities with other programs within the United States Mint field facilities and headquarters as well. Determine program goals and objectives, determine program emphasis and operating guidelines, and develop operating plans for the organization. Coordinate program efforts with other internal activities and with the activities of headquarters and other agencies. Provide authoritative advice and innovative direction on all aspects of human resources management, including personnel and administrative management; organization development; position management; strategic planning, especially in the areas of outreach and recruitment strategies; labor and employee relations, and performance management. You must meet the following requirements within 14 days of the closing date of this announcement. For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Developing and delivering a variety of Federal human resources service to an organization, such as; classification and position management; recruitment, hiring and placement; compensation and benefits; employee and organization development; organization and employee performance management; and employee and labor relations; and Interpreting Federal human resources laws, rules, and regulations in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures; and Overseeing the development and delivery of human resources management solutions to management officials, including the planning and managing work of subordinates. In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
