To support the Travelport vision, the Technology organization requires program managers whose focus is to provide leadership and guidance on key global strategic programs, reinforce best practices for team members, and drive business and customer valued results.
The role will be a key player in the delivery of key programs for Travelport in the Technology function; while driving the organization, projects and customer environments through a global Agile Transformation.
Main Accountabilities:
Proven track record in all aspects of Program Management including estimation, sourcing, budgeting, scheduling, quality management, implementation, risk management and regulatory requirements.
Provide leadership to team members under complex and matrix management conditions.
Ability to learn and utilize the Technology PMO Tools (Investment Framework, PPM, TEP, EMP).
Must be able to work across and support all Lines of Business and teams in Technology
Be change agents for team collaboration and adoption of best practices and be able to navigate resistance to change.
Establishes and supports metrics for measuring key program deliverables.
Maintains awareness of emerging technologies and project management techniques.
Advocates and complies with the Travelport End to End Delivery Model to enforce standards and best practices within the program that are focused on cost savings, high performance, high reliability, quality of user experience and architectural alignment of solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Training, Education:
University Degree or equivalent experience, a Master's degree is considered a plus

years' experience leading large global strategic programs for a Line of Business or Functional Area OR within a PMO environment.
Able to lead a collection of projects from concept through close that contribute to one or more portfolios for the company. (Most internal programs currently are driving some sort of transformation or change initiative.)
Has sound knowledge of people management, business processes, and customer service.
Prior experience in implementing best practices, governance, process improvement, etc.
Understands the delivery of multiple applications to clients and how two or more applications/products could be applied to client needs.
Displays ownership, high quality and completeness of deliverables.
Self-motivated and driven; must be able to execute with little to no daily supervision. (Matrix management environment.)
Experience managing matrix & virtual teams across multiple geographies and functions. (On and offshore resources retained and contract.)
PMI, Prince II and MS Project certified and Black Belt Six-Sigma, Lean, Agile a plus.
Advanced user of MS tools MS Project, Power Point, Excel, Access, Visio and SharePoint.
Context/Environment:
Positions based - Denver, CO (USA), ATL, GA (USA); Langley (UK)
Travel is required from time to time but will not be a regular requirement of the position.
Excels within a complex/continuously changing environment with multiple priorities.
The role will be expected to have the ability to manage staff both indirectly and directly.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
