Maintenance/Engineer Sr Manager

Strategic Management of the plant maintenance activities:
Strategic Management of the capital plan
Capital Project Management
Overall Capital and REA Plan Management
PM and EM Pillar leader
Support package design change implementations on the line.
Update plant drawings and CAD files as related to your projects
Production, facilities, utilities, and grounds technical support
Line optimization lead for equipment and process improvement
Weekend and contractor work supervision as needed
Management of the 3 year facility repair plan needs
Automation and equipment engineering support on all shifts as needed.
Plant optimization projects
Ensure vendors / contractors are complying with plant safety, security, and GMP requirements
Key contact for issues with plant equipment or issues with the manufacture of the equipment
Oversee exterior grounds maintenance
Support of division initiatives in new product offerings, HSE, Quality, HR and Finance
Strategic management of storeroom work plan
Technical leader for utility reduction efforts to reduce the usage of water, electricity and fuels
Minimize risk for facility by following up on and completing FM Global audit findings
Safety:
Support accident investigation as needed
Support the HSE manager to maintain the programs and required permits
Manage Elevator and Pressure Vessels operating permits
Oversee plant vehicles maintenance, licensing
BOS observations
Support safety program element training as designated
Emergency Action Plan key contact
Quality:
Understand QA manual and the process requirements that must be met
Engineering and maintenance support to solve / troubleshoot equipment related quality issues.
Provide technical process and packaging training for plant departments
Provide maintenance support to operations and quality teams for zero-loss optimization
Costs:
CMP target goal and project / loss reduction support
Management of project costs
Overall responsibility for cost centers 200011, 200012 and 201942
Provide period forecasts for cost center responsibilities
Oversee purchasing of maintenance parts and contract labor to ensure PepsiCo Audit compliance
Additional
Responsibilities:
Development of bench strength skills within the team; PDR and DAP development for direct reports
Tracking attendance, vacations, and ensuring coverage as needed
Contract accrual management for your projects
Understanding and enforcement of the supervisors playbook, contract, and resource guide
Annual Operations Plan development for your department. Strategic management of department SOP development
This position requires a minimum 4-year Business/ Manufacturing or Engineering related degree and 8
years experience in manufacturing

Employee relations, regulatory requirements, operations, engineering methods and costing, accounting, statistics, Maintenance and Quality Assurance

Ability to interface with plant personnel, outside contractors and different functional groups within the business units
Working knowledge of quality systems, finance, capital planning, project cost tracking and forecasting, economic justification analysis, statistical process control,and manufacturing management systems
Demonstrated leadership in safety & environmental compliance
Familiarity with TPM concepts, experience in implementing TPM initiatives across multiple teams is desired
Strong innovative external focus with excellent learning agility and proven ability to affect sustainable change
Very strong influence management and communication skills, must be able to sell ideas and gain organizational buy-in
High levels of analytical and financial skills, ability to use data to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities and accurately assess financial impacts
Ability to communicate and influence at all levels of an organization, plant floor to Sr. Management
A sense of urgency that drives ability to effectively deliver results
