Marketing/Proposal Coordinator

Brown and Caldwell's Denver office has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Marketing/Proposal Coordinator to join our growth-oriented professional engineering and environmental consulting office. We are seeking a positive, motivated person who enjoys multi-tasking and learning on the job.
The Marketing/Proposal Coordinator supports sales / marketing and business development efforts, including: proposal tracking; creation of persuasive proposals, presentations and marketing material; and maintenance of systems and tools to promote overall efficiency and effectiveness. Marketing/Proposal Coordinators work closely with senior leaders including Senior Marketing Specialists, Marketing Manager(s), and Office Managers.
Job Expectations:
Proposal / Presentation Development supports teams in following our company sales and marketing process to respond to multiple concurrent pursuits. Responsibilities include coordinating all elements of pursuits: formatting, proofreading, coordination with graphics, and editing/review to ensure compliance and quality, and efficient and timely production.
Marketing Information manages process to create and maintain well-organized, up-to-date qualifications statements, project descriptions and resumes that reflect firm strengths and client benefits. Provides timely entry of accurate and complete opportunity information and products in company tracking system.
Client Development provides general business development support to facilitate client contact by client service managers, including assembling information packages, organizing client workshops and special events, and maintaining marketing files. Supports maintenance of client mailing list in central database. Work with Client Service Managers to understand and respond to client needs, meetings and events.
Business Development contributes to company marketing process improvements. Provides event planning support for priority conferences. Implements branding initiatives.
Desired Skills and
Experience:
A professional degree (Communications, English, Journalism or Marketing preferred) with 1-5 years of experience in a related marketing role (experience in engineering, environmental or related field a plus).
A successful proposal / interview coordinator experience responding to RFPs/RFQs and performing all aspects of production.
Highly skilled in persuasive writing and graphic presentation.
Ability to identify key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently as well as in team environments, often under tight deadline situations.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with emphasis on superior persuasive writing, presentation and interviewing ability.
Proficient Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Adobe Suite / InDesign experience preferred

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
