Job Overview:

This position for Lead Analyst in Offer Management will directly support CenturyLinks pricing and bid effort for Federal government agencies.
The candidate will be responsible for pricing strategy, cost analysis, contract life cycle management, and financial modeling across a wide ranging and evolving product and service portfolio.
This position works closely with cross functional teams and company leaders from a variety of internal organizations and requires strong leadership, collaboration, and communications skills.

Job
Responsibilities:

  • Full financial and strategic ownership of business opportunities
  • Large contract and account price strategy development, implementation, and monitoring
  • Price vehicle life cycle management
  • Strong analytics and business case development
  • Ability to manage large data sets
  • Play a pivotal role in obtaining sales and profitability objectives by providing consultative, strategic and analytic services to Federal sales teams
  • Financially evaluate sales opportunities, provide risk analysis, and assessment of customer requested terms and conditions (includes business case preparation for EFAA impacted deals)
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms directly with customers
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Consult with various internal organizations who also participate in the pricing/contracts process (i.

    Legal, Product Management, Treasury, Finance, Billing, Operations & Engineering)

Secondary
Responsibilities:

  • Assist back office personnel in resolving implementation issues, billing issues and other issues as they may arise
  • Interface with IT for pricing requirements development
  • Special projects as requested

Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Pricing experience ( preferably in the Federal sector)
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business Development / or Product Management.
  • 6
    years of relevant work experience
  • Advanced proficiency creating, modeling, interpreting, and communicating financial information
  • Experience negotiating contracts
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and be able to effectively multi-task in a very fast paced environment
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills
  • Experience interacting with Executive teams
  • Proficient in MS-Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Data Base management
  • Ability to use advanced features in Excel such as nested functions, pivot tables and custom charts
  • Ability to travel on occasion

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Telecom industry experience
  • Federal pricing experience
  • Corporate financial analysis experience
  • Prior experience negotiating directly with Government customers
  • Prior experience working in support of a large, national sales force
  • MBA
