Position Overview:

This position is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of strategic initiatives to grow revenue and subscriber growth for Consumer products that include, but not limited to, Video and Home Automation services.
The person in this position will be required to closely align themselves with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Operations and Finance to drive success.

Job
Responsibilities:

Product Management:

  • Development of a product roadmap focusing on the best possible client experience
  • Develop programs to increase revenue and profitability by working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Finance and other key stakeholders to ensure revenue and margin objectives are being met
  • Develop market differentiating product solutions
  • Lead cross functional project teams in each region to achieve milestones and strategic objectives
  • Maintain revenue forecasting for applicable products/services
  • Produce ongoing readouts in tandem with reporting team to gauge the portfolios success against product plans and strategy

Product Awareness:

  • Engage, pitch and promote the product portfolio
  • Identify competitive and alternative offerings in the market and develop strategies for winning against the competition
  • Gain market insight through benchmarking our brand strategy against the competition
  • Identify ways to position ourproducts in growth categories; assist in the development ofpositioning and go-to market plans
  • Align the company and our channel partners aroundproduct direction, choices and tactics

Analysis:

  • Identify and execute on growth opportunities in new and existing markets
  • Leverage research and customer engagements to identify new product initiatives that give us a competitive advantage
  • Ensure market parity with respect to pricing based on competitive market trends, supply and demand, and other factors
  • Develop market insight through benchmarking our brand strategy against the competition
  • Track and report on progress/success of all revenue and margin initiatives to leadership

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to drive for results through leadership and flexible approaches
  • Ability tobuild consensus in a matrixed reporting structure
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Bachelors degree and 2-4 years related experience
  • 1+years related experience with Masters degree.

Preferred Requirements

  • Telecom or tech industry experience a plus but not required
