Job Description:
Effective installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of network hardware, software and related infrastructure.
Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.
Ensures that network hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and Partners.
Lead service provider teams with technical issues to resolution in a timely, effective manner. Includes oversight of less senior network engineers.
Participate in the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project life-cycle; technical analysis and design; and support of executing, testing and rolling-out the solutions.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelors of Science degree in a related IT/Computer Engineering field
Total of 15 years of related work experience.
Minimum CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) accreditation
5
years of experience in scoping, designing, integrating and implementing network infrastructure to high availability, distributed, and mission critical business systems.
Demonstrated experience with large enterprise level architectures and mission-critical systems
Strong knowledge of common system engineering tools, Networking (LAN and WAN), Unix, Windows, Load balancers, DNS, TCP/IP technologies
Ability to work on multiple opportunities concurrently
Ability to manage and troubleshoot large scale systems and environments: Environment of 400-500 routers, switches; VoIP; WebEx; and Video Teleconferencing solution architecture
Proven problem solving skills with an emphasis on quick problem resolution
Strong teamwork, decision-making, documentation and analytical skills
Ability to quickly think Outside of the Box
Disaster Recovery Planning and Testing experience
Ability to work with business partners and internal vendors in order to solution designs
Strong experience in Infrastructure compliance, business continuity, and monitoring
Ability to effectively prioritize and executive tasks
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills: Troubleshooting; and Rapid problem resolution skills
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with highly available solutions/architectures
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to project teams including business representatives
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to develop effective presentations in PowerPoint and Microsoft Visio
Ability to work with business partners and internal vendors in order to solution a problem
Willingness to mention junior engineers to achieve minimum CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) accreditation
Strong desire for and understanding of customer service

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
