We have a perm opening with one of our clients on the east side of Denver. They are looking for a business analyst that has experience writing user stories with acceptance criteria. In addition, they need to understand the importance and break down of high level, mid-level and low level requirements.

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is responsible for the identification and documentation of functional and non-functional detailed user stories and acceptance criteria covering business rules, data definition, quality attributes, design constraints, external interfaces, integration, workflow, and security. The creation of user stories follows the best practices of being independent, negotiable, valuable, estimable, small and testable. In addition, this role plays a critical role in the support of internal production support issues to ensure minimal disruption in the business. The Business Analyst will lead innovation and build strong, trusted relationships with internal clients and any third party application vendors.
Responsibilities

Leads analysis of system issues to diagnose the root cause, escalating issues as necessary.
Serves as primary contact for tier-2 internal production support issues, keeping customers experiencing issues up to date on progress and resolution.
Creates detailed user stories with acceptance criteria ready for development, which has been reviewed and validated with the team.
Creates process models, diagrams, charts or other materials to provide requirement clarification to the agile team and stakeholders.
Educates end users through the creation of written documents and live training sessions which enables customers to effectively utilize new features or systems.
Documents existing business process and its relationship to the system for cross training of other staff and creation of a knowledge base which enhances the speed and innovation of the teams work.
Manages all artifacts related to the creation of user stories, which could include diagrams, use cases, wireframes, etc. for use by other team members and future projects.
Collaborates with the team to continuously improve its internal practices and processes.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
