Java Cloud Sr. Developers
Location: Denver, CO (12

JD:
Minimum Requirements
o 2 - 4 years in architecture of large and business critical systems
o 6 - 8 years of experience in developing, deploying and administering Java applications using JAVA, Java EE
o 3 - 6 years of experience in Java/Java EE, with Spring and web services technologies (REST and SOAP)
o 3 - 5 years of strong experience with XSD, XML (SAX/DOM) and JSON
o 2 - 4 years of in depth knowledge of Unix environment that includes shell scripting
o Experience in building, deploying and managing services and applications in Cloud platform
o A clear understanding of cloud service and deployment models
o Understanding of cloud application design principles (such as those found at http://12factor.net)?
o Must have excellent implementation experience of Private Cloud Solutions
o Experience in configuring Application Server such as JBoss, WebLogic
o Experience in build systems such as Maven and Ant and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins
o Experience in software debugging and performance tuning
o Experience in NoSQL Databases such as Cassandra, Couchbase is a plus
o Candidate must have experience in developing performance intensive, high availability application
o Strong skills in solving complex problems
o Works well in a team environment
o Excellent written and verbal communications skills
o Strict adherence to development standards
Preferred Requirements:
o Experience with working on High Speed Internet, telephone and video provisioning applications
o Strong interpersonal skills; capable of writing recommendations and interacting with company personnel on complex topics.
o Experience with a platform as a service product such as Cloud Foundry, Heroku, Elastic Beanstalk, or similar
o OpenStack IaaS or PaaS experience
o Experience working on high volume reconciliation application
o Good to haves: ?
o Hadoop infrastructure experience
o Deep understanding of different Virtualization platforms and private cloud implementations using commercial and open source technologies
o Experience in Designing and implementing (Coding) applications with stringent performance & scalability requirements and developing low latency, extreme transaction processing systems.
o Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience, leveraging EC2, EBS, and S3
o Demonstrated experience of participating on teams of technical experts in a diverse, fast-paced, 24 7 environments.
o Proven experience meeting large deliverables with fixed and aggressive deadlines.
o Ability to present clear, concise reporting on concurrent projects and issues
o Proven analytical and problem solving skills
Education Level: - Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Field of Study: - Engineering, Computer Science
