We are seeking a Project Manager to work on an application consolidation project. This project has a tight budget and the project manager will need to keep the project on budget. PMP certification is preferred.

Project Description: The current portfolio has more than 1000 applications. This ongoing support and maintenance of so many apps consumes upwards of 90% of the staffs time, leaving very little capacity to consider working on new initiatives or inspiring innovative solutions for agency customers. This project will manage the retirement and consolidation of the applications where possible. The team has formulated a road map that will track and drive several strategic and tactical efforts that will help us meet our reduction goals and intends to use this plan as a living document throughout the life cycle of the effort. The team will be responsible for building a repeatable framework for application life cycle management and will establish the necessary policies and procedures as they relate to migration and decommissioning. A tool will be managed and implemented to help present important application information in the context of value to the business and IT. The team will also work to staff on proper application life cycle management best practices and techniques and to begin building road maps or System Life Cycle maps for every application we have in the portfolio.
Qualifications:
? Graduation from an accredited college or university with a BA/BS or Masters in Computer Science, Project Management, Business; or have gained comparable (to a four-year degree) professional experience in a related field on a year for year basis.
? 5 plus years in a highly technical IT project management environment (PMO) with specific focus on networks and computing platforms.
? Extensive IT Operations hands-on experience at technician and management levels, deep background in multiple disciplines (network, operating systems, server/hosting, security, leadership), culminating in infrastructure project leadership and ownership. Strong portfolio of successful projects in these areas.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
