Internal Auditor Senior
Under supervision of the Director of Internal Audit, the Internal Audit Senior is responsible for the timely execution of risk-based internal audits in accordance with the annual audit plan, as well as assisting with other audit matters and projects. The Internal Audit Senior is responsible for direct supervision of all audit staff functions, which are currently outsourced, to ensure audits are performed accurately and timely. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual who can identify opportunities, propose solutions, work quickly and see projects through to completion.
Role and
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting risk assessment of assigned department or functional areas
Assist in establishing, developing and executing risk-based audit programs
Conduct and review audit testing of specified area and identify reportable issues and dimension of risk
Provide direct supervision of audit staff in executing internal audit project work plans
Positively motivate and develop staff, be a company advocate, promote a positive work environment while keeping assigned projects on target
Ensure testing documentation meets requirements of external auditors for reliance
Critically analyze and assess the adequacy of internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gain
Verbally communicate findings to business process owners and draft comprehensive audit reports
Maintain knowledge of current accounting, auditing, industry, regulatory, general business and best practices
Assist the Director of Internal Audit with other tasks as deemed necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
CPA or CIA preferred
4 to 7 years of financial experience, through public accounting/auditing (Big 4 a plus) and/or industry experience
SOX 404 experience preferred
Demonstrated technical abilities in select areas (audit, accounting, regulatory, compliance etc.)
Excellent analytical, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Systems knowledge and familiarity
Self-starter who excels at learning new processes and business functions
Detail-oriented with excellent organization skills
Proficient time management skills and the ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
Demonstrate positive attitude toward management, staff, co-workers and guests
Creative approach to problem solving in a dynamic environment
Advanced level of PC skills with Microsoft Office applications
Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment
Ability to work both in a team environment and independently on projects
History of providing extraordinary service
Working Conditions: Normal office environment; approximately 10-15% travelEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
