Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Technical Analysts in Denver, CO. Analyze user requirements to develop, implement, and support Oracles global infrastructure. Deliver post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. Resolve post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, and technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for Oracle Electronic Support Services. Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, facilitate customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues. Serve as the technical interface to customers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Value-Added Resellers (VARs) for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance and use of Oracle products. Provide support to customers who contact the Oracle Solution Center and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines (mostly through electronic means).
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, or related technical field and 1 year of work experience in job offered or 1 year of work experience in a technical analyst-related occupation. Education or experience must include:
1. Programming Languages including Java, C, C++, NesC, Python and SML;
2. Databases including MS Access and Oracle;
3. Operating Systems including Windows XP, 98, Linux and Macintosh OSX;
4. Flash Programming using 2D games and Media;
5. Designed Advanced Data Structures and Algorithms including Greedy Algorithms, Dynamic Programming and Analysis of Advanced Programming;
6. Software engineering for Service Oriented Architecture, Model Driven Architecture, and UML designs;
7. Creating high quality content; and
8. Participating in internal forums to understand current technical issues.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
