Position Description
Responsible for the design, development, documentation, and testing of solutions/projects with Informatica
Developed mappings/Reusable Objects/Transformation/mapplets by using mapping designer, transformation developer, and mapplet designer in Informatica Power Center
Use Informatica Designer to create complex mappings using different transformations like filter, Router, lookups, stored procedure, joiner, update strategy, expressions, and aggregator transformations to pipeline data to Data Warehouse/Data Marts
Preparation of Test Data/Unit Testing /Integrated testing and generated various test cases
Troubleshoot and test programs to ensure operational quality and integrity
Create functional and technical mapping specifications and documentation
Support projects and requests from the business relating to the management of applicable applications. This includes analysis, gathering of business requirements, and creation of functional and technical specs, testing, training, escalation, and follow-up
Assist the business in understanding data management concepts and capabilities
Basic
Qualifications:
5
years of PowerCenter development experience is required
Experience with IDQ/Informatica Data Quality
Experience with utilities, stored procedures, and ETL tools
Must be able to mentor and technically support a remote team of junior and intermediate Informatica developers
Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to express complex business concepts in technical terms
Education Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
