Job Title : Air Quality Specialist
Location : Denver, Colorado
Reports to : Senior HSE Coordinator
The following will provide you with basic guidelines as to the duties required of this position.

Purpose:
The Air quality specialist will be responsible for permitting, monitoring, regulatory compliance, recordkeeping and reporting activities related to environmental regulations with primary focus on air quality. The air quality specialist will engage with Company stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and field personnel to facilitate permitting and implementation of compliance programs for upstream activities and limited mid-stream activities.
Main Responsibilities & Activities:
Assist Environmental Coordinator in development and implementation of air emissions compliance programs to ensure compliance with corporate policy and federal, state and local regulations
Manage air analyses for project planning and feasibility in coordination with Company engineering, development, facilities, construction, and regulatory teams
Generate air emission calculations and submit air permit applications/registrations
Conduct air quality program training, including rules/regulations, best practices, and recordkeeping
Revise GHG Monitoring Plan, submit annual GHG reports as required
Provide technical assistance to management and internal teams
Assist in developing and implementing Leak Detection and Repair Programs (LDAR)
Represent the company with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies as necessary
Prepare summaries of requirements and regulations, including potential enforcement actions
Prepare, organize, and maintain environmental permitting and compliance documentation
Review compliance monitoring reports and complete action items for violations
Assist with preparation and maintenance of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for federal, state, and local agencies as necessary
Identify modifications to federal, state, and local rules and regulations that may impact Company activities and understand compliance requirements
Prepare, conduct, and maintain inspection records
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Bachelor's Degree in related discipline of Science or Engineering
Minimum of 5 years air permitting and compliance experience in Oil and Gas E&P Operations
Experience with upstream Oil and Gas operations as well as additional experience with midstream oil and gas preferred
Knowledge of applicable federal and state air quality programs including nonattainment rules, NSPS (OOOO and JJJJ), and Mandatory Reporting Rule for Greenhouse Gasses.
o Specific experience with Utah, North Dakota, and/or Colorado regulations preferred
Ability to translate environmental regulations and permit and plan requirements into specific compliance guidance
