Job Summary Provides clinical services as a doctoral level correctional care psychologist for the Denver Sheriff Department. Services will include expert diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, and group therapy for incarcerated individuals. Also provides case coordination to facilitate referrals to specialty care as needed. Functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team and provides clinical teaching and leadership for other staff members. Is actively involved in quality improvement, data monitoring and in research projects as well as supervising psychology trainees. Minimum
Qualifications Education: Doctoral degree in psychology
Experience: 4000 hours supervised clinical service, including completion of predoctoral internship and one year postdoctoral experience. 2000 providing behavioral health services in a primary care medical clinic.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Advanced knowledge and skills in effective psychological practice in primary care medical settings. Is able to provide psychodiagnostic assessment, intervention and patient education for patients commonly seen in the primary care clinic. Possesses skills needed to participate effectively in a leadership role with the multidisciplinary team and to provide teaching to other members of the medical team and to medical students and other trainees. Can participate as a faculty member with the psychology internship and training program. Possesses advanced written and oral communication skills.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
