Summary:
_
Responsible for daily pool and grounds maintenance for an apartment community and some preparation of vacant apartments.
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor/Assistant Maintenance Supervisor
Supervises: None
_
Essential Functions:
_
Remove trash from office areas and apartment community perimeter on a daily basis.
Remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready.
Clean and maintain pool daily. Monitor and maintain proper chemical balance of pool water. Update pool logs and/or records.
Check gates to pool area for proper operation.
Clean carpets in vacant and occupied apartments as directed by management team.
Water community plants, flowers and grass in between scheduled visits or in absence of lawn care contractor.
May be requested to assist in other areas of community including make-ready, painting, furniture moving, as the community needs dictate.
May be assigned to door-to-door trash pick-up duties if apartment community offers that as an amenity.
During normal course of duty look for community maintenance including groundskeeper duties, trash pick-up, furniture moving, pool maintenance, preventive maintenance, etc. depending on community needs.
Attends and participates in Camden's training programs as required.
Requirements
Experience and Specialized Knowledge
3 moths minimum previous experience cleaning carpets, picking up trash from grounds, maintaining pools, etc. preferred
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required
Training/Certificates/Association Membership
Must have certifications/permits required by city or state to perform job responsibilities
