The candidate will be responsible for handling a caseload of Social Security Disability claims. Will interact directly with claimants and assist in the initial application, reconsideration, hearing before an Administrative Law Judge, and an appeal to the Appeals Council. Representing individual claimants, referred from customer base, before the Social Security Administration. Striving for early awards and approvals on each case by presenting argument and medical records. Utilizing database and calendar appropriately to ensure timely actions on each case. Staying informed of regulatory changes with Social Security law and performing legal research as necessary. Should have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Must have passed the Bar and be a licensed attorney. Computer literacy, excellent written and verbal communication skills and excellent customer service skills are also required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
