A large oil and gas client downtown is looking to hire a Citrix System Administrator for their tight knit team of Infrastructure Professionals.

Summary:
The Senior Citrix Systems Administrator will work with a wide variety of network and operations related issues in a Microsoft/Citrix/VMware Server Systems environment. The candidate will perform day-to-day management and application support of the Citrix environment. The candiate must also analyze the techncial needs of the origanziation, recommend solutions in accordance with business objectives and perform system design and implementation tasks for Citrix related projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/
Responsibilities:
Perform day-to-day management and application support, including server administration, performance monitoring, and client problem resolution.
Design and Administration of Citrix XenApp 5.0 through 6.5.
Design and Administration of Citrix Provisioning
services
.
Working knowledge of NetScaler products.
Active Directory Group Policy management.
Citrix/Terminal Services Profile management.
Works closely with the other engineers on new technologies and translation of these technologies to the business
community
.
Provides technical support to special projects coordinating across several IT departments and must manage several projects at a time.
Coordination of change testing and implementation in a production environment.
Document configurations and procedures that will be transitioned to the Help Desk and Desktop Support teams
Test performance and conflict management of applications sharing the systems.
Occassional travel (1-3 annual) to a field location.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years experience.
The candidate must have a thorough technical background with the the ability to function with little to no supervision or direction.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Active Directory experience required.
Citrix Netscaler experience required.
Citrix Web Gateway experience required.
Citrix EdgeSight experience required.
ESRI ArcGIS Citrix integration preferred.
VMware Virtual Infrastructure experience preferred.
Microsoft Hyper-V experience preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
