Minimum Requirements:
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Information Technology or other relevant discipline and 6 years of experience in IT.
OR
Associate s degree or technical diploma/degree in Information Technology and 10 years of relevant experience in Information Technology support field.
OR
14 years of Enterprise level IT experience in an administration, support and/or oversight capacity
In addition to education/experience (noted above) CISSP (ISC2) certification is required
Due to the nature of the work, candidate must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Requirements:
Information security working knowledge and experience.
Operating systems (UNIX, Windows, etc.) working knowledge and experience.
Active Directory working knowledge.
Networking knowledge and experience (including wired and wireless).
Firewall implementation and management experience.
Application development knowledge.
Database design knowledge.
IDS/IPS implementation and management experience.
Vulnerability and penetration testing knowledge and experience.
SIEM working knowledge.
Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
Strong problem solving and conceptual abilities.
Very strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Strong collaboration skills.
Performing effectively in a team environment and independently with minimal direction; self-motivated.
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced industrial and government environments.
Track record of using discretion concerning confidential and sensitive company information.
Track record of obtaining results.
Other skills as needed to perform the expected tasks.
