Jobot is partnering with a growing and reputable Denver based organization to fill a consultant role as a Payroll Specialist. We anticipate the assignment to last roughly 12 weeks but this is subject to change based on the needs of the organization. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for the following:
Maintain tax registrations across 917 tax locations “ this includes new hires, moves, terms; opening cases in UKG based on tax notices, logging into state accounts and troubleshooting tax issues, updating SUI rates in UKG based on state tax requirements, etc.
Process payroll for just over 1,000 employees across our 23 subsidiaries, in 36 states on a bi-weekly frequency
Payroll reconciliations and month end reporting
Work closely with Finance and Human Resources teams
Maintains employee payroll and 401K contributions for all employees
Any other tasks or duties as assigned
If you have at least 3 years of full cycle payroll experience including payroll taxes, reporting, reconciliations, etc., are proficient in UKG software, have an excellent personality and enjoy collaborating with both internal and external partners, possess outstanding attention to detail and professional acumen, thrive in a fast paced and multi-entity environment than this could be a great opportunity for you.
