KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Product Development to join our Tax Ignition Team.
Responsibilities:
Build, manage, and optimize technology resources to help internal and/or external clients achieve business goalsUtilize deep technical knowledge across various domains, leveraging this expertise to help navigate complex technical landscapes and effectively communicate strategic technical advice to senior leadershipOversee the design, flow, activities, and implementation of changes and performance improvements, communications related to changes, and measurement of impact while acting as an executive-level escalation point for business engagement liaisons to ensure project expectations, goals, and objectives are consistently metInnovate new value-driving technologies or service offerings based on business relationships and provide technical feasibility; partner closely with business engagement liaisons to outline technology fiscal planning, holding accountability for overall technology spendAssume ownership and accountability of several concurrent development efforts and the development teams throughout the entire software lifecycle, which includes Architecture, Design, Development, DevOps; perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned productsDesign and develop enterprise scale solutions using programming technologies like Angular 14+, Web Service, C#, Microsoft.
NET, and JavaScript technologies with SQL/NoSQL as the database backend in both MS Azure cloud and on-prem environment
Qualifications:
Minimum seven years of recent experience in development, unit testing, and troubleshooting of large enterprise Tax application software using SQL, C#,.
NET Framework with at least two years of experience leading development teams and providing technical management oversight on projectsBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in engineering, computer science, or informationExperience working with indirect tax is preferredAdvanced level of knowledge on application development using these technologies is preferredExperience in designing database schema, developing stored procedures, and other database objects on SQL ServerExperience in leading and developing a diverse international team across multiple time zonesKPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
