Wipfli LLP is currently seeking a Senior Manager of Business Development for our Nonprofit, Government and Education (NGE) practice.
This individual will focus concurrently on:
Developing key relationships within the Denver, CO metro and surrounding areasSelling technology solutions, management consulting, and accounting services to nonprofits and educational institutionsGrowing the market for NGE and building their own brand as an NGE ambassadorThis is a highly visible position in the Denver market.
The ideal candidate will consistently engage c-suite leaders and develop deep relationships that generate multiple projects.
Wipfli is looking for someone who knows how to build and tap into networks in Denver, carries a knowledge and background in nonprofits, exemplifies dynamic relationship building skills, and is passionate about creating lasting, positive impact.
Business Development and Sales Execution Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the Denver, CO market aligned with NGE s objectives to achieve revenue and market share growthAnalyze nonprofit and education industry trends and market dynamics to identify emerging opportunities and threats Stay informed about competitor activities and market shiftsEstablish and maintain relationships with potential partners, clients, and key stakeholders.
Collaborate on mutually beneficial business venturesActivate sales strategies to achieve revenue targets by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
Foster a culture of sales excellence and client satisfactionEvaluate and recommend new product or service offerings that align with market demands and firm capabilitiesCraft proposals and negotiate agreements and partnerships to ensure favorable terms and conditions for WipfliProvide regular reports and updates to NGE s leadership team, highlighting key performance metrics and progress toward growth goalsServe as NGE s market lead and brand builder in the Denver, CO market.
Participate in weekly in-person events and facilitate weekly in-person meetings with clients, prospects, and/or referral sources to develop relationships and identify leads Be the visible, client-facing leader that represents Wipfli in the Denver, CO marketPresents at conferences and events as the face of Wipfli's nonprofit, government, and education practiceServe as the key growth resource within the regional Community of PracticeBuilds sales channels that can produce consistent leads and opportunitiesFocus on expanding Wipfli s brand within the Denver, CO market Represent the full breadth of service offerings within Wipfli s core services areas of audit, tax, tech consulting, outsourced accounting and organizational performance Develop and manage the lead pipeline through external referral sources, connections and networking groupsClose new business engagements with ideal clients Manage multiple, complex pursuits and coordinate a collaborative sales effort with subject matter experts and consultants through the entire sales lifecycleAssist with preparing and presenting the value proposition Support direct marketing campaigns and programs - follow up on marketing qualified leads to further nurture those leads and turn them into sales opportunitiesCollaborate with and engage Wipfli leaders and associates, when appropriate, to move a contact from prospect to client Meet or exceed sales targetsPlanningBuild, develop and cultivate a target list of ideal nonprofits and educational institutions in the Denver, CO marketUnderstand the targeted market segment needs, industry issues, competitive threats and our service offerings Build a strong working relationship with leaders within Wipfli s Nonprofit, Government, and Education Industry
Qualifications:

years of consulting or service sales experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or other job related major, or an equivalent level of job-related experiencePrevious sales/business development/growth and nonprofit industry experience in the Denver, CO market is required Basic level of marketing savvy (i.
e.
knowledge of high-level events/sponsorship strategy, power of social media, etc.

Wipfli supports equal pay for equal work and values each candidate s unique experiences and skill sets.
The estimated pay range for this position is:
$129,000 to $215,000.
Compensation within the range is determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, individuals' skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, business needs and applicable employment laws.
Individuals may also be eligible for a variable commission plan, subject to participation rules and based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to individual and Firm performance.
