Senior Wireless Engineer
Senior Wireless Engineer Remote schedule in Denver (Must be located in Denver area) 1 year contract (Potential to extend) Our client is looking for a Sr Network engineer.
Looking for a seasoned and well-rounded network engineer with strong Cisco Routing and Switching experience.
Primarily Cisco and Meraki; Aci, Dcnm, ideally Some aws as well as high level firewall experience (Palo and Cisco).
This can be remote I believe but ATL or Denver would be a plus as that is where the 2 primary datacenters are.
They are looking for guidance on average salary.
Responsibilities Contribute to and help lead multiple Network Engineering initiatives and projects consisting of design and development for complex products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, testing, and integration Develop LAN/WAN strategies; evaluate and select hardware and software products, implement and integrate these products into comprehensive solutions meeting company's business requirements Performs after-hours systems support, installation, and maintenance as required Provide specialized technical expertise in researching and resolving complex technology network infrastructure problems which may involve coordination of hardware and software vendor support Advise team members on procedures, techniques, and requirements to insure maximum performance and availability of the company infrastructure Recommend areas for improvement in both processes and Systems Implements and maintains proper IDF/MDF facilities to include hardware high availability and redundant power supplies and UPS's at all times.
Works with facilities on any cooling and other environmental issues.
Is able to conduct in-depth research into issues and technologies as required and to recommend preferred hardware and/or solutions.

years experience as a Network Engineer in Enterprise EnvironmentsLooking for a seasoned and well-rounded network engineer with strong Cisco Routing and Switching experience.
At least 7
years' experience in knowledge of generally accepted networking principles, including data loss prevention, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory in supporting multi-protocol network environments (i.
e.
BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, QOS, VLAN, and VOIP) Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesCisco Wireless Networks (Meraki, Deployment, AP migration, Security)In-depth understanding of LAN, WAN, and storage network technology, covering both hardware devices and software protocols and services.
Capable of designing and optimizing complex network architectures.
Knowledge in building a strong secure network, with expertise in implementing the organization's IDS/IPS, ISE, VPN's, ACE, and firewall solutions, including auditing and event managementProficiency in public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, with extensive experience in architecting and managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
