Led by Chef Julien Renaut, all recipes are from scratch, using French methods to provide high quality items.
We are seeking a driven, passionate boulanger / baker with knowledge and experience in artisan breads to assist our Sous Chef in our Viennoiserie/Bread kitchen.
Qualifications/Preferred Skills Baking
Experience:
1 year (required) Knowledge of bread making Ability to learn quickly Must be reliable Effective communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work as part of a team Ability to meet strict deadlines Lift 50lb bags of flour Knowledge on operating bakery equipment Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations Acute attention to detail Full Job Description You will be responsible as a boulanger / baker for assisting the sous chef with performing production related to:
Making various bread doughs (using imported French flour) Forming different artisanal breads such as Baguettes, Boule, Flatbreads, etc.
Refreshing and maintaining our starter Proofing/Baking all Bread and much more Responsibilities and duties as a boulanger / baker assisting the sous chef but not limited to:
