PAWSitive Petsitting Services LLC is a premier dog walking and pet sitting service.
Our team of professional petsitters have been providing pet care since 1998.
We have pet sitters that have been with us for over a decade.
Applicants:
Must be responsible and reliable and love animals.
You must be at least 18 years old, have excellent references, own a computer, reliable transportation, a cell phone and live in Lakewood, Colorado.
Candidates must be available for pet care assignments in this area.
You must be able to work through all seasons and weather, this is a year round job and pets need pet care 365 days a year.
You must pass a criminal check and drug screen.
Required to have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle that can handle the varying Colorado weather.
You will be required to travel to different locations for dog walking/pet sitting assignments.
Your work schedule will vary per client.
We look for a minimum of a 6-month commitment.
Pet care experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:
Provide pet sitting services for various types of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals - Ensure the well-being and safety of the animals under your care - Follow feeding schedules and provide fresh water for pets - Administer medications as instructed by pet owners - Walk dogs, properly dispose of their waste, provide exercise and playtime - Clean litter boxes, cages, and other pet areas - Monitor pets for any signs of illness or distress and report to owners or veterinarians if necessary - Maintain a clean and organized environment for the pets
Experience:
- Previous experience in pet sitting or animal care is preferred - Knowledge of basic animal behavior and handling techniques - Experience as a veterinary assistant or in a similar role is a plus - Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments - Familiarity with pet grooming techniques is beneficial but not necessary- Strong animal handling skills, including the ability to safely restrain animals when necessary - Ability to perform heavy lifting when needed Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and experience.
