ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develops, arranges, and delivers general and specialized retirement education for members, benefit recipients, and affiliated employers through a variety of digital channels Integrates training best practices, adult learning theories, educational technology, behavioral finance concepts and technical expertise into the development and evaluation of presentation content and materials Comprehends and communicates about PERA's benefit plans, insurance programs, retirement readiness, and financial security Motivates membership to plan for retirement and helps them understand and utilize the resources available to them Accurately, professionally conveys information in a clear, compelling, and empathic manner to people of diverse social, economic, and educational backgrounds Participates in training and educational opportunities for ongoing professional development Works on multiple projects within and outside of Member Education and reports to different project leaders prioritizing, organizing, and coordinating own workflow with minimal supervision, balancing independent work and team projects Responsible for meeting Division standards as set forth by management and the team Maintains regular and prompt attendance, meets assigned deadlines, and actively participates in Division events Performs other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS A combination of related education and experience equivalent to three years; bachelor's degree preferred Experience in understanding, interpreting, and distilling complex information into easy-to-understand concepts An understanding of financial concepts, basic investing, and retirement plans is desired Experience with digital engagement tools and platforms and the ability to utilize a variety of educational technology applications Experience with collection and analysis of learning data to drive continuous improvement efforts of educational solutions Ability to identify and consider multiple options before making decisions with an understanding of the impact of decisions on others Detail oriented and ability to focus in a variety of work environments Polished speaker and presenter who is comfortable in person and on camera and can adapt to and interact with a variety of audiences on a variety of platforms Desire and ability to contribute to and promote a collaborative, high-performing team culture Valid driver's license with excellent driving record preferred Comfortable and excited about learning new technologies and proficient with standard software applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and Zoom Works to understand their impact on the team WORKING CONDITIONS Standard office environment with regular computer operation, and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy and printer machine Occasional travel by car or plane as necessary for business purposes (A rare weekend or travel is possible) Ability to work a varied schedule which can skew outside of normal business hours HYBRID WORK OPTION Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
