- Receive and unload produce shipments - Inspect and sort produce for quality and freshness - Stock and rotate produce on shelves and displays - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department - Assist customers in selecting and weighing produce items - Operate cash register for produce purchases - Provide excellent customer service and answer customer inquiries - Assist with inventory control and ordering of produce items
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a retail environment preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Multilingual abilities are a plus - Familiarity with cash register operations - Ability to operate a forklift is a plus - Bilingual skills are a plus - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Familiarity with RF scanners for inventory control is a plus As a Produce Clerk, you will play an important role in ensuring that our customers have access to fresh, high-quality produce.
