We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning that meets the needs of each unique child and family.
Specifically, we focus on integrated autism care and a play-based model of applied behavior analysis (ABA) based on the principles of the Early Start Denver Model.
A Child Care Specialist, also known as a Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician, Behavioral Health Technician, RBT, or ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapist, works 1:
1 with young children on the autism spectrum to support skill development, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and in partnership with our speech and occupational therapy teams.

What You'll Do Provide 1:
1 direct intervention for children 2-6 years old in a center-based setting based on developmentally appropriate, naturalistic ABA therapy Follow the intervention plans developed by clinicians in the fields of Behavior Analysts, Speech, and Occupational Therapy Collaborate with each client's team of Behavior Technicians, SLPs, and OTs to provide high quality support for your clients Work closely with the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) team to provide continuity of care between providers Actively engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities Build relationships and connect with mentors in a wide variety of fields Build meaningful and professional relationships with families; communicate and share progress with them on a regular basis Receive ongoing feedback, coaching and professional development from your BCBA to improve and grow your practice and skills What's In It For You Quality health insurance:

) Professional development days for all Soar staff twice a year Free fieldwork supervision for aspiring BCBAs Clinical Placement available for SLP and OT graduate students What You Have Preferred candidates are enrolled in a degree program related to Child Development, Psychology, Education, Speech & Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field Preferred candidates have a bachelor's degree in Child Development, Psychology, Education, Speech & Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, or a related field Previous experience with children between the ages of 2-6, preferably in a professional setting as a paraprofessional, nanny, preschool teacher, childcare/daycare provider, or youth coach Previous experience with the neurodiverse population, preferably individuals on the spectrum Professional working proficiency in English.
English proficiency assessment may be required as a part of hiring process.
