This role's primary responsibility is to ensure a positive customer experience for the guests of our must see tourist attraction, The Beyond Light Experience, a guided meditation with a 360 degree rock and roll light show.
The Beyond Light Experience funds our non-profit church that additionally holds private events, members only community nights, and non-dogmatic alternative and inclusive church services.
This role will also be trained to work private evening events in various capacities and for other roles within the organization.
JOB DUTIES (Include but are note limited to):
Greet Visitors Handle Ticket Payments via Square Make change and keep track of cash Convert on-the-fence drop-ins to get tickets quickly and efficiently Answer basic questions about the Art, History, Church Ethos/Philosophy, Activities & Membership requirements.
Opening & Closing cleaning duties including, garbage emptying, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning/upkeep.
Accurate Cash Drawer Management Furniture Movement & Arrangement for Events Weekend and night hours required.
REQUIREMENTS:
21 Years of age or older Legally able to work in the US Comfort & Confidence around Public Speaking Ability to memorize and internalize information, history, anecdotes, etc Ability to take direction and follow various greeting protocols/scripts.
Fluent Spoken English and high regard for word choice nuances.
Punctuality and Reliable Transportation Attention to Small Details Enthusiasm to learn and grow Personal connection to our mission is a plus Positive Can-do attitude around all duties Ability to see big picture and identify task to help move those projects and issues forward in a positive direction.
