POSITION SUMMARY Alterra needs a highly motivated and organized Senior Business Analyst who wants to have a direct impact in the ski industry fostering solutions for our guests.
Our resorts are the cornerstone to our guests experience and eCommerce is the key driver to that success! Our engineering team needs a process driven approach to delivering key features for all our destination websites.
You will be responsible for managing multiple fast-paced projects, with several stakeholder intake flows, all while keeping an eye on the end-to-end solution and the guest experience.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES & JOB DUTIES Proven thought leader, developing forward-thinking business processes that promote increased efficiency and productivity within the enterprise Must be a motivated self-starter that is able to lead projects independently, with minimal direction Act as a mentor to team members and project leaders to educate and assist them with implementing Agile best practices Concurrently manage multiple moderately complex projects Translate business goals into user stories, functional/technical specifications, and acceptance criteria Manage delivery plans and deliverables execution for engineering team resources Develop and maintain project/initiative documentation Act as a Subject Matter Expect in the analysis of business processes and functional requirements to support user story generation Review and validate story acceptance criteria; support the business owners during user acceptance testing Work with engineering and QA teams to support release deployment and post-deployment activity Facilitate and participate in key Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, backlog grooming/refinement, sprint planning, and retrospectives) Partner with technical product management throughout roadmap planning to understand enterprise business priorities and impact Communicate and partner effectively between business units, technology & support teams, and external partners Maintains a high degree of integrity and accountability EDUCATION & EXPERIENCERequired:
Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field 5
years of work experience in a business analyst or product owner role supporting multiple concurrent business projects Strong understanding of eCommerce applications Working knowledge of large-scale development projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests Hands-on experience working on projects involving multiple application components, and integrations with other platforms Solid working knowledge of API integration technologies Practical experience of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodology Ability to breakdown complex business problems into detailed requirements for user stories High attention to detail; a sense of organization, delivery timelines, quality, and accuracy Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Figma Preferred:
Experience facilitating Agile SCRUM ceremonies Understanding of Ski Industry Resort operations The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel.

's total compensation package for employees.

Denver area base salary range:
