Business Development Manager (Sales and Related)

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a team of Territory Sales Representatives within their assigned geography.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be expected to build strong relationships within all key retailers, as well as Independent Operators and other key stakeholders.
Responsible for playing a crucial role in leading a team of Sales Specialists, driving sales growth, and price/margin management.
Provide expertise in coaching, analyzing data, and implementing corporate-driven strategic initiatives to improve team performance and contribute to the company's growth JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Collaborate with Regional and Division Manager on all activities and communications Budgeting, planning, and communicating internally for all key customers.
-Selling & executing sales programs for all retailers, including national, regional, and independent customers.
-Plan and lead flawless execution of all promotional and Marketing programs to optimize investments.
-Identify, solicit, and secure new business delivering increased brand across the region.
-Research, outreach, coordinating samples, follow-up, and onboarding of new customers.
-Identifying new opportunities based on segments, trade shows, and industry organizations.
-Managing incoming sample requests and lead inquiries via website, email, and other sources.
-Oversee on-premise marketing support for new and existing customers.
-Sending promotional materials and working with new customers to optimize menu and signage.
-In-person placement of signage and promotional materials in key markets.
-Represent the company in sales meetings and customer visits.
-Engage with customers through visits, emails, and phone calls.
-Build relationships with operators and distributor partners.
-Attend and manage national food shows and conferences.
-Manage distributor relationships.
-Creation of sales materials (including sell sheets and presentations).
-Coordination of distributor sales blitzes and sales incentives.
