Recommend correct coding of medical claims Audit medical records to verify coding Perform all medical record coding activities Analyzing and interpreting medical records to ascertain medical coding Resolve coding/billing-related issues Performing outpatient and/or inpatient medical coding and billing functions Perform full cycle medical billing for multispecialty physician and hospital services Performing outpatient and/or inpatient medical coding and billing functions, reviewing medical record documentation and medical claims to ensure the complete coding of all relevant procedures, diagnoses Performing outpatient medical coding and billing functions Perform outpatient and inpatient medical coding and billing functions Analyze medical information from medical records Communicate coding changes and answer coding questions from staff Verify coding accuracy, codes, abstracts, and coordinate erroneous coding Maintain knowledge of medical service coding and guidelines Adhere to official coding guidelines Adhere to official coding guidelines Maintain documentation on coding activities Create study specific coding guidelines Maintain a coding accuracy of 95% Perform clinical coding review to ensure accuracy of medical coding and utilizes clinical expertise and judgment to determine correct coding & billing Recommended Skills Auditing Billing Claim Processing Clinical Works Medical Records Medical Billing And Coding Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
