Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Financial Data Reporting Analyst for a direct-hire/permanent role in Denver, CO.
This direct hire/permanent will be located in downtown Denver, CO.
This role will start off remote until it is determined to report onsite to the office in Denver.
Due to this, interested candidates who currently reside in the Denver area or interested candidates who will be relocating to the Denver area are encouraged to apply.
In this role, you will be providing data analysis and reporting/dashboard solutions to Finance Department personnel as well as other departments and management.
The Financial Analyst will also provide general support with day-to-day finance operations, business processes and related technology improvements.
Additional responsibilities include:
Run suites of monthly and annual financial reports, verifying values are accurate by checking against other sources and considering reasonableness.
Distribute reports to appropriate locations or employees as directed, adhering to deliverables schedule.
Manage ad hoc reporting inbox by working with end users to address ad-hoc data analysis and both in-house and client-facing reporting requests in a timely manner.
Provide reporting and analysis support for finance groups, including billing, eBilling, pricing, accounts payable, general ledger, and trust.
Apply knowledge of accounting applications, SQL queries and VBA to design application customizations and reporting tools, as well as automate processes which are currently performed manually.
Coordinate the monthly upload of data for Peer Monitor.
Assist with data validation for financial systems upgrades/enhancements/projects.
Qualifications Completion of college level accounting classes, a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related Business Intelligence preferred.
2 - 4 years relevant experience preferably in a finance department (legal services is a huge plus) T-SQL programming experience in a Microsoft SQL Server environment, including creating stored procedures.
Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with experience creating and editing macros in VBA.
Experience with Elite 3E, or a similar financial system, preferred.
