Manager Financial Platforms - Oracle PaaS
JOB PURPOSE:

As Manager Finance Platforms Oracle PaaS you will lead major initiatives on the Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud platform.
You will be involved in the design, build, configuration, testing, and deployment activities for a company-wide multi-year program focused on migration of legacy fleet accounting and rental car revenue, receivable, licensee and partner compensation systems to the Hertz Oracle Cloud platform.
The position will collaborate with team members, vendors, business partners, and management leveraging Oracle Cloud technology to provide modern digital solutions for the Hertz Global Finance Shared Services.
The Manager Finance Platforms is a high performing techno functional leader who can scope and manage all aspects of project delivery including requirements, design, build, testing, and deployment.
The Manager Finance Platforms has exceptional communication, project management, and technical skills and leverages these skills to collaborate with implementation partners, business leaders, process owners, and technology teams to deliver business value and process improvements.
This position will be involved in administering the current Hertz Oracle Cloud production platform as well as supporting initiatives to extend the Hertz Oracle PaaS / SaaS platforms to incorporate new capabilities for the legacy fleet and revenue modernization initiatives.
The position requires exceptional skillsets in Oracle Cloud PaaS administration with key knowledge of the following Oracle Cloud PaaS/IaaS services:
Security and Identity Cloud Services, Compute Cloud Services, Network Cloud Services, Storage Cloud Services, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Console, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Data Guard, Oracle Data Safe, and Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) Databases.
Additional skills in administering Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) are desirable.
This role reports to the Sr.
Director Financial Platforms.
BUSINESS IMPACT:
This role is critical for Global Finance Shared Services and Audit.
Job Contributions- what wil you do Key Result Areas:
Maintain the infrastructure and security of the Hertz Oracle PaaS Cloud platform.
Configure Oracle PaaS services according to Hertz requirements.
Create and manage pods, define security settings, configure network components, and establish connectivity with other Hertz systems.
Monitor health and performance of the Hertz PaaS environment, including resource utilization, response times, and system availability.
Identify bottlenecks, tune and optimize performance of the Hertz PaaS services.
Provide crucial security management administration including security controls such as authentication, authorization and encryption mechanisms to protect sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
Oversee the application of patches and updates to address security vulnerabilities and keep the system secure.
Administer appropriate backup and recovery strategies for the Oracle PaaS environment.
Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the Oracle PaaS environment including creating and deleting user accounts, assigning appropriate roles, and maintaining user access controls to ensure proper segregation of duties and compliance with security policies.
Troubleshoot and identify root causes of problems and resolve in a timely manner.
Employ diagnostic troubleshooting skills including but not limited to analyzing logs, working with Oracle support, applying patches and/or fixes, and communicating with stakeholders to ensure prompt issue resolution.
Perform capacity planning activities to anticipate future growth and ensure the Oracle PaaS environment has sufficient resources to meet Hertzs needs.
Collaborate with development teams, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on utilizing Oracle PaaS services effectively.
Maintain comprehensive documentation on configurations, procedures, troubleshooting steps, and other relevant information to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistent administration practices.
Experience and Qualifications Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Finance or equivalent.

years of hands-on experience in implementing, upgrading and supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, databases, and associated PaaS/IaaS services.
