Mortenson is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to master the customer journey and provide communication for each step:
from awareness of the business need to guiding solutions with insights to nurturing the sales cycle to achieving preference for our brand, to repeat business, and ultimately to customer advocacy.
The primary objective is new business acquisition by supporting the sales efforts of our leadership team and Operating Group (OG) representatives.
Demonstrating the capability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated, and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital for your success.
High levels of organization and communication ability are necessary as you will be interacting with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing, deadline-driven environment.
The hourly compensation range for this role is $26.
59 - $35.
91 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations:
Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.
C.

5%) Hourly pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill, and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
RESPONSIBILITIESThe coordinator is an important part of the team, as this role is responsible for positioning our services and equipping the BD and construction team members to successfully interact with targeted customers, from 1:
1 meetings to speaking engagements to social media posts.
Support project acquisition through business proposals:
Produce high-quality proposal and presentation content that differentiates Mortenson and demonstrates how we solve problems for our customer Create and maintain efficient marketing processes, record-keeping systems, and a historical information library Meeting financial targets by delivering on content marketing foundational goals, such as:
Mapping customer decision-making paths (in partnership with the leadership team) Developing customer profiles/personas for key segments Identifying the best tactics to achieve the desired position with each persona/segment Develop integrated marketing communications programs and budget to achieve business goals:
Implement programs, which may include:
a website, feature articles, videos, public relations, social media, advertising, and other mediums to successfully position and differentiate Mortenson in the market Develop and manage internal communication plans Measuring results of programs, documenting learning, and driving continuous improvement QUALIFICATIONS 6 years of experience in integrated marketing required B2B experience required Strong business writing, presentation, and communication skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.
com Demonstrate problem-solving capability Business Services industry background preferred Proven experience in the activities, programs, and expectations as outlined above Analytical drive - to understand the importance of analytics and measurement, and to understand and support segmentation and targeting decisions Serve as the voice of the customer - always balancing the message of our differentiators within the context of what is most valuable to each segment (as supported by data) during the various stages of our customer's journey Storytelling/Messaging proficiency - pull together the right resources to guide the team through storytelling exercises Demonstrate a real passion for learning - become an avid reader of industry and customer-focused publications (online and offline), participate in customer associations, and attend customer conferences and events to develop an intimate knowledge of our target audiences The amount of new relationships you build and/or expand (and ultimately new business acquired) is how leaders gauge your success.
Marketing metrics are tracked quantitatively, and leadership team feedback on quality and results will be measured qualitatively.
Education:
