Position SummaryJoin MDC Holdings (parent company of Richmond American Homes) as an Email Design Strategist! In this position, you'll be helping homebuyers realize the American Dream of home ownership through your creative expertise in email marketing and design.
We are looking for a superstar with a strong understanding of current email marketing trends, email troubleshooting techniques, a keen eye for design, and the technical skills to create custom responsive email designs and HTML for mobile and desktop delivery.
Please be prepared to demonstrate and explain the design and technical details behind your own responsive email examples.
Likewise, this individual should be a driven, self-starter with the confidence and past-experience to take the current email program to new heights.
This entails working with other groups in the department to create new customer-driven flows, analyzing past performance indicators and applying that knowledge to current and future email programs.
Position RequirementsTo succeed at this position, you need to possess these skills and personal qualities:
Responsive email design/ development experience and knowledge of best practices 4 to 6 years of experience working directly with email creation and execution Strategic thinker, able to use past data to create new email programs and templates Approach the design process from the end-user perspective and uses that knowledge to enhance the overall user experience and prioritize usability Creative, modern design skills that can adhere to established brand standards using professional software suites (i.
e.
Adobe Creative Suite) Knowledge of HTML and CSS knowledge Strong social media platform engagement and familiarity Positive, energetic, driven attitude with the ability to take initiative and thrive within a fun team environmentThe following are a plus:
Strong understanding of browser technologies, standards support, and cross-browser coding Adherence to industry standard best practices for web design, user experience interactions, SEO optimizations, and front-end coding with HTML, CSS, and PHP Experience working in the latest version of Wordpress and block designBenefits & Perks While we value hard work, we also recognize the importance of having fun!
