Summary:
The Content Marketing Strategist is an integral member of the fast-moving Admissions Marketing team responsible for all prospective student marketing activities and messaging.
This position will support enrollment management efforts by developing and managing communications strategies and leading storytelling efforts at all stages of the prospective student journey from awareness to matriculation.
The ideal candidate will be adept at producing original content that is compelling, authentic and distinguishes Regis University in ways that evoke an emotional response and drive action.
The role requires a blend of excellent planning, copywriting, storytelling, research and interviewing skills, with an understanding of audience needs to produce engaging and effective marketing campaigns and messaging that support enrollment goals.
This position requires understanding of SEM/SEO strategies, email marketing, as well as the ability to spot new trends and areas of opportunity within the prospective student journey.

Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Essential:
50% Content Creation Serves as content creation lead for admissions marketing initiatives and strategic communication.
Develops specific marketing campaigns to reach enrollment goals.
Collaborates with admission staff and leadership, academic units, and agency partners on the development and execution of content strategies to cover all stages of the student journey from inquiry to enrollment and alumni engagement.
Identifies and curates a repository of elevator speeches, proof points, statistics and rankings that demonstrate the quality of Regis' programs and student experience.
Regularly audit content to identify gaps, areas of opportunity, under and over performing content, and use this data to develop action plans.
Edits, revises, and proofreads materials and resolves errors or inconsistencies in style, syntax, grammar, and format.
20% Systems Management Maximizes marketing automation and CRM platform opportunities to deliver engaging, dynamic content to respective audiences.
Stays current on best practices, tools and emerging trends related to developments in marketing strategy, content development and audience engagement from in and outside the higher education industry.
20% Reporting and ROI Monitors and measures the effectiveness of email campaigns and webpages by setting engagement goals and establishing key performance indicators.
Leverages heatmapping and A/B testing tools to guide content decisions.
Applies market research tactics to support content strategies.
10% Other Duties as Assigned MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's degree, from an accredited institution of higher education.
Experience:
Minimum five years' experience leveraging storytelling for email, print, web, social media and digital advertising channels.
Minimum two years' experience in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite applications.
Previous experience leading creative projects and campaigns from concept to execution.
Previous experience managing copywriters, graphic designers or other creative professionals is a plus.
Understanding of content hierarchy, user experience, personalization and SEO best practices to create effective digital marketing content and campaigns.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
Some local, regional, and/or national travel may be required.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
