Summary:
As an Xactimate Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the company's mission.
Your primary responsibility will be to establish customer relationships, educate customers on the construction process, and provide accurate estimates for reconstruction projects.
You will work closely with project managers, customers, and external resources to ensure that estimates meet client requirements and project scopes are well-defined.
The main goal is to help individuals and businesses recover from fire and water damage, making it Like it never even happened!, dedicated to providing exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Currently seeking an experienced and motivated Xactimate Estimator to join the Reconstruction department.
Responsibilities:
Establish customer relationships for construction services.
Educate and inform customers on the construction process.
Collaborate with customers to understand desired upgrades or changes.
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for projects.
Write Scopes in Xactimate for reconstruction projects.
Deliver consistent and well-defined initial estimates.
Recognize project constraints and identify needed upgrades.
Collaborate with Project Manager to price bid items, if required.
Identify and document finalized project scope of work.
Coordinate with external resources, such as Structural Engineers, ITEL, Electrical Inspectors, etc.
, to complete accurate estimates.
Assemble accurate and well-organized estimates.
Communicate estimates to the Project Manager effectively.
Required
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of previous construction estimating and/or insurance adjusting experience.
Proven track record of providing superb customer service.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Advanced math skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Must have a good driving record.
Previous Insurance Adjuster or Homeowners Insurance estimators are encouraged to apply.
Work Environment Requirements:
Walking and/or standing throughout the day.
Frequent driving and sitting.
Occasional climbing of ladders.
Occasional exposure to extreme conditions such as heat.
Work environment and job sites may have loud noise levels.
Working Hours and Travel Requirements:
Full-time position, Monday to Friday, working hours from 7:

m.
to 5:
00 p.
m.
This is not a remote position and requires gathering information in the field and reports to the office for estimate building.
Long hours, on-call availability, and weekend work may be required.
Travel is primarily local, but occasional out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
