Summary:
The role of the Front Desk Rep is to ensure our patients and staff are as safe as they can in the time of COVID-19.
This role interacts with all of our employees, patients and visitors who come into our clinical facilities.
This role will be responsible for screening all people who enter our clinical facility.
Greets employees, patients and visitors.
Creates a welcoming environment by answering basic questions and providing directions.
Screen each individual per the COVID-19 screening process.
Provides a comfortable, confidential screening experience.
Authorized gatekeeper of the assigned COVID-19 access point.
Maintains a clean and disinfected area, including but not limited to door knobs, thermometers, tables, counters, etc.
Ensure appropriate supplies are available and replenished when needed Escalate any concerns and engage appropriate staff to assist with patient care and transport as needed Screeners will be either standing or sitting and may require mobility Assist with other job related duties as assigned $16-$19 / hour
Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year previous experience or some hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred.
Must have the skills necessary to operate office equipment that are required to fulfill job duties.
Forty-five (45) wpm typing skills required.
Medical terminology and computer experience beneficial Bilingual preferred.
Good communication skills.
USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.
If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
