Summary:
The Investor Relations Administrator is responsible for developing, engaging, and enhancing Avanti's 400
high net worth, institutional investors, establishing strong channels of communication, and ensuring information is accurately and efficiently conveyed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Evaluate, optimize, and support positive and meaningful relationships with investors and prospective investors.
Serve as the primary source of communication flow between Avanti and its investor base.
Organically grow Avanti's investor base.
Responsible for timely follow-up on leads and referrals.
Cross-functional, working with all internal teams to respond and supplement ordinary course investor inquiries.
Liaise with internal and external legal to coordinate, deliver and process transfer of interest requests and formal documentation.
Deliver investment summaries, valuations, and other ad-hoc reporting to investors.
Work with investors to produce valuable and reliable reporting to meet their individualized requests.
Analyze investor and prospect profiles for capital raises.
Start to finish investor onboarding.
Manage and review investor subscription-related paperwork.
Work with investors to ensure completion and accuracy of paperwork.
Obtaining tax documentation to be used for year-end K-1s, as well as banking information for disbursement payments.
Introduction and navigation of the investor portal.
Oversee, manage, and maintain the CRM to include recording of qualitative and invaluable relationship history with the genesis of referrals, connections, and creation of subset lists of investor groups, enabling the targeting (or removal) based on deal criteria and characteristics.
Coordinate quarterly reporting process, including notifications of distributions, posting of investor newsletters, and financial reports.
Ensure accounting and reporting cycles are completed successfully, efficiently, and timely.
Troubleshoot disbursement issues and discrepancies.
Initiate, oversee, and track all investment and 1031 exchange investor elections and affiliated new money interest.
Coordinate with finance the 1031 exchange process for acquisition and disposition activity.
Promote and employ an open communication with senior executives.
Work with Marketing to create communication-related materials for new and existing investors and deals.
Other duties as assigned.
KEY COMPETENCIES Acute understanding of finance and accounting principles.
Strong communication skills.
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES - Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying:
Must have five years of experience in managing investor relations.
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate or another related field preferred.
Must have a record of high integrity, confidentiality, and exemplary ethics.
REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of valid driver's license and up to date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation.
Pass criminal background screening prior to employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal office setting May travel to properties owned and operated by Avanti or other business-related locations/events as required.
Must be able to follow directions, be innovative and resourceful, provide excellence customer service, always display respect and professionalism.
Able to constantly read, sit, and lift 30 lbs.
