Position Summary We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Corporate National Marketing department.
In this position, you will be helping homebuyers realize the American Dream of home ownership through your day-to-day Digital Marketing support for the National Marketing department.
The ideal candidate is data-driven, organized, process-driven, technically-minded & customer focused.
They are passionate about communicating the right message at the right time to realtors and prospective homebuyers at all stages of the customer journey.
They maintain a positive and professional attitude, communicate proactively, and are adept at relationship building.
This role works as part of a multidisciplinary team and they are primarily responsible for adhering to all bulk email and SMS best practices (CANSPAM, Privacy Policy), tracking/optimizing email engagement KPI targets, and communicating email/SMS program goals and performance with all members of the Marketing team.
They are the experts and define strategies, determine how apply best practices to our program independently.
This role is responsible for sending/scheduling all emails as a part of their daily tasks.
They also work closely with copywriters, project managers, online designers, the division marketing specialists and their digital marketing teammates on other steps in the projects that bring those strategies to life.
They review tests, create briefs and visio worklflows for email automations and collaborate with IT and creative.
Collaborative projects include quarterly national email content calendars (with creative), and monthly local email messaging/strategies (division marketers).
Responsibilities Review recent performance, benchmark info and work alongside Digital Marketing Director to set performance goals each quarter.
Communicate program goal to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with creative team managers on a Quarterly National Message Calendar.
Ensure content supports business and program goals.
Pivot/adapt planned calendar content if business needs shift during the planned period.
Work with division marketers as they submit monthly local messaging content.
Adapt submissions to fit performance goals.
Become an expert in ClickDimensions, stay up to date with product updates, best practices and work with ClickDimensions support/services team on application versioning.
Maintain CRM workflows used in existing email programs.
Use Microsoft Dynamics/ClickDimensions daily to create email templates, text only email content, custom marketing lists, and perform email test sends and messaging drops.
Reporting:
Review email health check dashboards in Microsoft Dynamics daily/weekly.
Pull down email report data monthly.
Identify trends and next steps as needed for performance to meet/exceed goals.
Inbox & Subscription management tasks:
Monitor select marketing inboxes, forward inbound messages to applicable teams to handle (like local land acquisition resources) & manage email subscription information/policies including one-off requests for opt-out.
Customer Surveys:
Use ClickDimensions to create surveys, format questions for easy reporting, incorporate survey responses in email automations and reporting dashboards in CRM.
Some responsibilities of this role may evolve or shift as the department's needs change.
For example, the person in this role may be asked to support messaging strategy for sales team and/or affiliate companies.
They may also lend their survey building experience to other teams.
Requirements Education:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, related discipline or comparable work experience.

years professional experience in outbound marketing, email marketing, direct marketing.
A strong technical understanding of email deliverability and operations Problem-solving and critical thinking skills Experience working with others on projects that have a set structure and timeline using project management software like Wrike, Basecamp, Asana, Teamwork, etc.
Confidence in working in email delivery tools and list verification tools.
Experience incorporating SMS into marketing outreach programs.
Experience working in ESPs such as HubSpot, SendGrid, Campaign Automation, ClickDimensions Experience working with advanced CRM platforms like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Strong computer skills, including the proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel) Ability to learn new software platforms and established marketing processes quickly Positive can-do attitude and ability to thrive within a team environment Google Analytics Certified Experience with B2C business models Subject to applicable laws, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by start date under M.
