This Opportunity Golder WSP is currently initiating a search for an IntermediateIndustrial Wastewater Treatment Engineer for our Denver, Coloradolocation. We are looking for an individual who is inspired to grow with us and become an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of our dynamic and highly talented multi-disciplinary team supporting mining and industrial wastewater treatment projects. Your Impact Managing clients, projects and staff involved in a variety of industrial and mine water treatment projects. Designing industrial and mine water treatment plants. Supporting operations and process decisions at industrial and mine water treatment plants. Conducting bench-scale and pilot-scale treatability studies including developing plans, executing work, data management, reporting, and oversight. Analyzing and managing water quality data. Working on alternative evaluations, cost estimate, pre-feasibility, and feasibility report preparation. Process development work including preparing calculations on equipment sizing, reagent consumption, secondary waste generation, etc. Creating process flow diagrams and piping and instrumentation diagrams. Preparing process drawings, in coordination with other disciplines. Preparing technical specifications. Supporting environmental permitting. Provide technical support to external and internal clients. Develop and maintain client relationships. Lead and/or support proposal efforts through technical concept development and budgeting activities. Work with design teams and technical support staff to ensure compliance with scope, schedule and budget requirements. Mentor and train junior and intermediate staff, as appropriate. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, with a focus in Water Treatment or closely related discipline. 5 to 7 years of relevant post education experience in a design or consulting engineering firm working on industrial and mining water treatment projects. Highly proficient with water treatment engineering principles, practices, and methods and their application to environmental and project work-related issues. Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in Engineering. 40-Hour OSHA Health & Safety Training (HAZWOPER) (29 CFR 1910.120) preferred. 24-Hour MSHA Part 48 New Miner Training. #LI-BJ1
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Industrial Engineering, Environmental EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
