In this role you will serve as a client service manager and manage water treatment planning, design, services during construction for a wide variety of water related projects within our Denver operation. You will be responsible for business development activities including maintaining and expanding relationships with clients and positioning BC for opportunities, leading an engineering team to develop detailed engineering plans and specifications for water treatment plants, pumping stations and conveyance systems. Typical work areas might include:
Delegate, sequence and oversee the work of technical staff and engineers performing designs of water treatment systems, pump stations, tanks, reservoirs, or conveyance systems. Lead and assist with business development efforts including positioning, pursuits, and Client management services Develop and guide CSTs, collaborate with APLs, Analyze and recommend improvements to water treatment processes Serve as a mentor to mid-level and rising professional staff Perform quality assurance and quality control reviews of reports, memorandums, designs Support the development of strategies for the water, wastewater and infrastructure market sector in Colorado. Lead planning efforts in water treatment, pumping, storage and conveyance Support BC's quality control and quality assurance process Lead client and internal meetings to advance project work as an effective communicator Prepare written reports and technical memorandums to document analyses and recommendations. Participate in office work groups and organizations to benefit the company's knowledge of issues and to understand client needs. Desired Skills and
Experience:
M.S. or B.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering with a minimum of 15 years of related experience in the water treatment and conveyance field. Engineers with other degrees such as Chemical or Mechanical may be considered if they have strong experience in municipal or industrial water treatment facility planning and design. P.E. or ability to obtain a P.E in the state of Colorado is required. PMP certification is a plus. Experience leading or supporting competitive sales efforts with municipal clients is required. Experience managing and delivering water treatment and conveyance related planning and design projects in the role as a project manager is required. Familiarity with regulations driving water treatment planning and permitting is required. Strong written communication skills and experience producing technical reports. Flexibility to work in other service areas such as infrastructure, wastewater, and/or stormwater water preferred but not required. Ability to work in a team environment. Colorado Salary Range:
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is $100,000 - $137,000 annually and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. Benefits and Other Compensation:
