Opportunity Overview An internal promotion has resulted in an Internal Audit manager opportunity at Johns Manville. The Internal Audit Manager is a high visibility role responsible for developing internal audit team members, collaborating with senior management across the global organization, managing operational and financial reviews of key business processes and presenting results to senior management. In this role you will have limited Sarbanes-Oxley involvement allowing you to focus your efforts learning about our business, our plants and driving process and compliance improvements. This position provides international work experience and is a great opportunity to be a part of an evolving global finance organization that is focused on developing its team members for future roles within the organization. Applicants can expect to make between $91,000 to $125,000. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for a target incentive bonus under our variable incentive plan. This position is based out of the Johns Manville global headquarters in Denver, CO. This is also a flexible work arrangement with both in-office and remote workdays. Your Day-To-Day:
Plan and lead Internal Audit team members engaged in conducting financial, information technology and operational audits. Coordinate the annual global risk assessment process. Lead Johns Manville's limited scope global Sarbanes-Oxley compliance program Implement effective internal audit strategies aligned with current technical and authoritative guidance. Drive the identification and adoption of data analytic procedures in audit projects. Manage a portfolio of engagements across the global organization. Build effective relationships with senior management. Prepare well-written audit reports that appropriately summarize key process and control improvement opportunities. Develop and coordinate audit schedules, project budgets and personnel requirements for audit assignments. Assist with the management of the global Ethics and Compliance Hotline. Demonstrate a passion for developing other internal audit team members. What You Bring to The Team:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance. 12
years internal or external audit experience with at least three years in an audit leadership role. Effective communication and influencing skills with senior management Active, relevant professional certification such as CIA, CPA, CFE or CISA. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to analyze complex problems and seek consensus to drive operational, control and process improvement. Strong report writing, organizational, and project management skills. Willing to travel approximately 15-20%, to both domestic and international locations including Germany, Slovakia and Canada. Preferred:
ACL or similar data analytics experience (Access, Oracle, programming languages) Sarbanes-Oxley experience Manufacturing industry experience Exposure to ERP applications (SAP strongly preferred) Foreign language skills in German or Slovak a real plus Benefits Johns Manville (JM) offers a wide range of benefits to employees. $80K -- $150K
